Is it really free?
Yes. Making, printing, sharing and solving are free, without an account and without ads.
How many words can I use?
As many as you like. Between 8 and 25 words gives the nicest grids.
Why doesn’t a word fit?
A word needs at least one letter in common with the others at a free spot. Add a word that shares a letter, or press Shuffle.
Can I use umlauts and accents?
Yes. Each letter gets its own square — Ä, Ö, Ü, ẞ, É, Ñ and more. In the options you can switch to the classic style (Ä → AE, ß → SS).
Is my puzzle saved?
Your current puzzle stays in this browser. When you create a share link, the puzzle is saved on our server so others can open it. It only appears in the public collection if you tick that box.
Can I print it with the answers?
Yes. The answer key comes on a second page. Choose A4 or Letter and one of four styles.
